Welcome to Saaga!
Saagan Issikat Icelandic horse stable offers guided riding treks for all horse enthusiasts, as well as first-time riders, in the stunning coastal landscapes of Virpiniemi.
Our Icelandic horses live in a small and warm-hearted stable in Virpiniemi, which is located in the close vicinity of Oulu, only 20km away from the city center. All of our treks and activities are carried out with respect for Finnish nature.
Whether you are an experienced rider or a complete beginner, we welcome you to get to know and be amazed by our gentle and lovable Icelandic horses!

Our guiding languages are Finnish and English!
The maximum weight for the rider is 85kg.
Children are also welcome to partake in our treks! For the galloping level riding treks, children have to be at least 12 years old and have lots of previous experience of riding in the forests!
